Our bodies are nothing more than compromised energy vibrating at different frequencies. Human feelings, thoughts and convictions have a direct effect on the energy field, which permeates, imbibes and surrounds our bodies. The energy flow through our body can contract (compress) or expand, depending on what we think about ourselves and others. We experience this compression of energy as tension, which can lead to an imbalance, energy blockages or illness. In contrast, an expansion of energy is experienced as well-being and equilibrium. Depending on the extent of this expansion, our consciousness may also be broadened so that we may feel "one" with all of existence, at least for a few moments.

Accordingly, we are in a state of continually exchanging energy with this cosmic energy field. Moreover, there is a direct interaction between our consciousness and our psychological and physical energy field. This means that we were born with the ability to heal our body and to shape our world. Unfortunately, many people have lost this ability, and the natural flow of their life force is no longer at their disposal. This development is a major problem in our Western civilization. Whether one's own life force and vital energy can flow freely or is blocked is the deciding factor determining whether we are healthy or sick, and whether we live in harmony or disharmony in our physical bodies, in the psychological and spiritual realm.
